It amazes me the lack of compassion I read here. We're in northern AZ, snow has been horrible. My daughter-in-law teaches first grade so I help out - and daily there are homeless kids here. There are new/different kids every day, hungry, dirty and scared.

As a former Mormon, I was president of the ladies' Relief Society. We were in charge of those who needed help in our community, regardless of religious preference. There was always resentment towards those who needed long-term help but were not interested in the church.

Hmmm, sent me off to an endless war in which everybody involved knows is going to last forever, and forever. If I were a woman in the military - I would definitely not have agreed to sign my entire existence forever into slavery to U.S. war machines.
